I guess this is it then.

I used to like you. I did.

I valued your companionship. I wanted to be with you. You're funny, you're spontaneous and you're just damn fun to be around with. Good times.

Then you showed me your true you and quite frankly your "true" you does not suit me. The true you is desperate, shameless and stupid. And I can't take it.

The thing about me that you need to know is that I'm not.... nice. They say don't pick your friends but I don't believe that. I pick my friends and I don't feel guilty at all for it. My time is precious and I only spend it on the worthy. The one thing that all my friends have in common is that I respect every single one of them.

The moment you threw yourself around in your pathetic desperate attempts, I lost all respect for you. Therein lies the problem. You lost my respect. You can never gain it back. I am ashamed to even be seen with you.

There is such a thing called self-respect. You should really look it up because you're in desperate need of it......In fact, desperate is the only adjective I would use to describe you these days.

Goodbye. We had some good times, I wish we could have more but your desperate attempts at becoming something that you clearly are not is making me despise you.

Nosy bitches and full body massages

Ever had a full body massage? No. Then let the Constantly Dramatic One tells you all about it.

I decided to get a full body massage the other day because what better way to celebrate the new year then to pamper yourself silly? Plus bear in mind, I didn't get to celebrate the New Year thanks to the food poisoning that followed me all the way from China.

Inspired by a recent blog post by the deliciously passive aggressive Cheesecakeerian, I decided that I too will have my full body massage in an open air setting at the gazebo. Usually the gazebo is there to accompany two people, a couple if you would so when I requested to get my massage there the manager was surprised and a little bit reluctant. I asked her sarcastically if a terrible spell would befall the spa hence propelling them into bankruptcy if a woman sans one boyfriend get her massage done there - solo. After giving me a dirty look , she told me that yes, I can get the open air massage that I want.

My day at the spa was off to a good beginning.

My messues led me to the gazebo and I was amazed. It actually took my breath away. I have been to this spa before but I stayed inside the building, though the decor is glorious in all its Balinese inspired theme but the backyard literally took my breath away. To get to the gazebo one must first walk across a huge greenery area with trees and shrubs, if you have watch old Malay movies where P.Ramlee was wooing the princess in the moonlight in the royal garden you would know how this place looks like. The gazebo itself was set in an almost-island. There was a makeshift pond complete with lilies underneath and the soothing sound of the [artificial] waterfall helps made the atmosphere heavenly. The gazebo was wrapped with thin layers of cloth in assorted pastel colours and when you stepped inside you can still make out the shape of things outside the gazebo through the cloth. Its all very...romantic.

Mental note: next time bring Charlie.

See the thing with full body massage is that you gotta go buck naked so if you have problems with getting naked with a total stranger and letting them touch you...then a full body massage isn't for you. My messues, a real Balinese woman waited outside the gazebo as I was getting undressed. They provided this disposable panties, that looks like disposable granny panties- I'm serious -for you but really its useless, because when they say full body massage - trust me they will be touching everywhere. Its not like its my first time getting a massage. But I really did not want to look like a shameless wanton so I put them on even though I did not want to.

As I was lying down and the messues was working her way from my feet applying just the right amount of pressure. I was thinking what a beautiful day it is, and what a good start to a year and how I wish its not some Balinese woman who is giving me a massage but instead the father of my [yet unborn] children, Charlie, that was the point that my messues decided to strike a conversation with me.

"You know, you have a nicely shaped butt. If you work out more, it'll look better."

Bear in mind that when she made this comment...I wasn't wearing much. Aaaaaawkward.

"Ohh....uhhmm...thanks."

Silence.

"So when was the last time you were touched by a man?

...............................................................................................................

..................................................................................................................

Say whhhhhhhaaaat?!!!!

"Excuse me?"

"You know when was the last time you did it?"

WTF?

"That really is none of your business."

"Oh can't get a man?"

"Oh I get plenty.....I just don't like...men."

At this point I turned around and gave her a meaningful smile. The look on her face was priceless. Ahahahahahaha! Homophobe much?

After that she didn't try to make anymore conversations coz I think she really think that I was a lesbian. Because I have nothing better to do with my life I kept on moaning suggestively every time she applied more pressure. After my 90 mins session was done, she wouldn't even look at me in the face. I think I scarred her for life. Heh. I'm goin to hell for this but who ask that bitch to be so nosy?

It was a good massage. Nosy bitch, aside from being nosy, is actually really good at massaging. Maybe I'll go back there again next month and request for her.

Bet that would freak her out.

Of working part time...

The Parental Unit told me that thanks to my.......excessive spending while in Chicago and then China, the Constantly Dramatic One is hereby banned from shopping till the middle of the year. No shit man. They actually used the word "banned". Very amusing.

So now since my life line is being severely and unjustly cut from me, I am searching for a part time job. Fuck this man, I need to shop. How am I gonna lead a partially happy life if I don't get to shop? I cannot I tell you. Therefore a part time job is the way to go. So this is how 2008 gonna play out:

Full time studying. Part time working. Extra time bitching.

Its a plan.

So...that's how you found me?

Today is the 2nd day of the New Year and for those of you who were born on this day, the Constantly Dramatic One wishes you a joyful birthday. For those of you who made New Year resolutions, I do hope you are still going strong and for the dude who found my blog through the Google search
"
FOR ALL bitch YOU NAUGHTY CHRISTIAN GIRLS"...I really hope you didn't jerk off to my blog.

Coz that shit is just nasty.

Duuuuddde, it is the 2nd day of the New Year. A tad desperate to be searching for naughty Christian girls porn aren't we?

Really if you are that hard up then go out. Rent some naughty school girl porn if that's what floats your boat. At least you can get some fresh air while on the way to the adult store or if you're Malaysian, then your friendly bootleg DVD vendor. Some fresh air would do you good. Much better than sitting in front of the computer with your pants off.....................

Eeeewwww. Bad mental image.

Now I'm gonna assume that you were really horny when you Google for your "naughty Christian girls" so here's a little tip: Google Images, safe search off. That way you won't find my blog and creeps the Bejesus out of me. Or maybe you need the directions to the nearest porn store? Either way. Put your pants back on and fuck off from my blog.

2007 in review.

The Constantly Dramatic One's year 2007 in review.
Lets make this short and sweet.

  1. This blog started as a class assignment for "responsible journalism" for one of my media classes. It has then evolved to become my personal dramatic musings.

  2. Originally called Days of Turmoil as a tribute to the Sweet Valley series that the Constantly Dramatic One used to love as a child. Days of Turmoil was the title of one of the main character's Jessica Wakefield favourite soap opera...but since no one made the connection, I grew tired of it. Then this blog became Pseudo Intellectualism for a while where I tried to repress my dramatic urges and try to be all intellectual...didn't last long. Finally it became Dramatic Musings which I think is the best title for this blog for it flows with the content. Dramatic Musings by the Constantly Dramatic One.

  3. Fucked up so many chances at romance because of being too damn choosy. "Oh no I can't date you, you're too tall." "Oh no I can't date you, you're too young." "Oh no I can't date you, you're too stupid." Bla bla bla excuses excuses, like I am so great. Have to stop being so damn picky.

  4. Visited Sabah, Chicago and yes, China.

  5. Made a worthy... nemesis.

  6. Realise that I don't have a...totally straight sexual orientation. The Constantly Dramatic One swings it both ways...Is that going to be a problem?

  7. Mourn the ending of my childhood passion, the Harry Potter series.

  8. Officially turned into adult by the age stated on my ID ...though most of the times I still feel like a little girl lost in the big, scary world faking her way through.

  9. Started out blogging in October with a bang with better blog post. Readable, non-embarrassing shit.

  10. Realised who my friends are...and discovered many frenemies.

  11. Went to watch two Broadway shows. One in Malaysia, another is the real thing in Chicago. (Will blog about it soon).

  12. Climbed the Great Wall of China. Fuck yeah!

  13. Made waves with an unadulterated blog post.

  14. Registered for voting. Felt so grown up.

  15. Made nice with my brother...after years of bitter sibling rivalry.

  16. Flew home across continents alone. I flew to Chicago with my parents but flew home 4 days earlier then them so that was my first time flying solo. I felt so...grown up.

  17. Fell down six steps of stairs and twisted my ankle. Had to take painkillers for a while. That was indeed, a bitch.

  18. Deeply infatuated and was halfway in love with a man I never met. And no I didn't blogged about it though my friends know about it. The Constantly Dramatic One was borderline stalker-ish....oh wait. I totally crossed that border already. Thank God I'm over that now. It was just a phase. Move along people, nothing to see here.

  19. Touched snow for the first time in my life. It wasn't magical like I thought its going to be. What do I know? I'm just a kid living in a tropical country. All I know about snow comes from the Christmas specials on TV...and they always look magical there. Turns out snow is bitch that makes the road slippery. I now hate snow and am thankful that I am in fact living in a tropical country.

  20. Cope with the tragedy that is losing my luggage. MAS are run by a bunch of incompetent baboons.

  21. Matured in some ways. Looking forward to the future but yet still clinging to the past.

So those are the top 21 things that happened in 2007. Why 21? You figure it out yourself.

But really, how can one measure a year? In daylights? In sunsets? In cup of coffees?...No you measure it in love. And with that I let the cast of RENT take it away. They can say...sing it better than I can.

Now bring on 2008. Bitches.
